True North Strong and Free

This beautiful gospel tract has been prepared in coordination with a church planter, especially for use with Canadians. The opening paragraph reads: From its beautiful cities, to its vast landscape, to its multicultural society, Canada is a mixture of ideas, cultures, and individuals from around the world. This diversity is what makes our country exceptional. With all this in mind have you ever thought about what our national anthem says? We are the “…True north strong and free.” Our freedom allows this noteworthy diversity. However, there’s another phrase in our national anthem to think about. It is the phrase “… God keep our land.” Many Canadians have little thought of God, yet it is with great national pride that we sing about Him every time we sing our national anthem. Who is the “God” we sing about and what does He have to say to us?
